Bengaluru, 21st Feb, 2019 – DMentors, the leading dance company and studio based out of JP Nagar in Bangalore, has successfully conducted their 2nd Annual Dance Showcase NRITTYA ARTHA 2019.
The 2nd annual dance showcase was conducted at RV Girls High School Auditorium in Jayanagar 2nd block, Bangalore. The event saw participation from 60 select students from the DMentors dance academy, including scintillating performances by the Intensive Training Unit. This annual dance concert brings together the best work produced, over the past twelve months, by students and the dance mentors.
While the 1st annual dance showcase, NRITTYA ARTHA 2018, saw participation by other professional dancers from across the city, the 2019 edition was exclusive to only the students and mentors of DMentors dance company.
The event had over 500 attendees who had come to encourage the performers, be part of an amazing dance showcase experience and enjoy an entertaining evening.
This year’s festival featured performances by dance teams at the DMentors JP Nagar studio, the intensive training unit and about 60 students from select DMentors training centres from all over the city.
The theme of Nrittya Artha 2019 was Better and Brighter Tomorrow. The event, which showcased the skills of the students, thrilled the parents and students alike. Standout themes from team performances included women empowerment, respect for girls, enlightenment through education, etc. Various performances included amazing props and were appreciated by one and all.
Ms Sushmita, a parent whose 10-year old kid has been trained by DMentors for the past 7 months, said, “I am attending this annual showcase for first time and I am amazed by the wonderful standard of the show! It was beyond our expectations.”
